Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011), spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she began working for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. From 2005 to the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. [20] She was hired at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end.
