Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her many roles in the FX horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) are her most well-known. As Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Her films include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured, 2019. Rabe is also featured on television in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) and The First Lady (2022). Rabe made her screen debut in 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, Rabe's mother. At the Gloucester Stage Company, Massachusetts where she made her professional stage debut with her mother. She appeared in two one-act shows: Speaking Well of the Dead by Israel Horovitz as well as The Crazy Girl by Frank Pugliese. The roles she played were able to confer her Equity Card. In July 2003 she appeared in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. She was also in Mona Lisa Smile that year. She returned to New York shortly after she completed her degree. From September 29 through October 2, 2004, she appeared in White Jesus by Deirdre O'Connor which was one of a number of one-act plays presented in the form of The Democracy Project from the Naked Angels Theater Company.
